I also noticed the location of your BMAX reservoir. It can be mounted almost anywhere, but the hose should be going downhill all the way to the drive. The BMAX spins out quite a bit of oil when it's at high RPM. The bottle holds it, and drains it back when the drive is idling or shut down.

If you already knew that, sorry. I’d just hate to see those clean engines get oiled down or worse.

speaking of this...Does anyone have a good pic of the speedmaster oil reserve bottle they can post? I need a pic of one but am too lazy to uncover the boat and snap the pic :rolleyes: :D Mine is leaking at the bottom of the bottle and I need to order a new one. thanks.
