Well its my dock I own it so yea its OK, as for local marinas?? I don't know. My big question at this point is to try to get container to the dock or just run a really long hose to it??

I'm using the gas Caddie ... 28gal ....and i bring home a tank on my way home from work 2-3 days a week ... .....it ads up ...and about .25 gal cheaper .

Me too , maybe once a month. Last summer I'd tow to the Delaware City ramp at the end of the canal and run the rest of the way. Season ramp pass for out of state people was only $37.50 :eek: . This summer thinking about the Salem River in Jersey to beat the bridge toll. Even stayed over a few times so I got two days on one toll :D

i joined a yacht club last year and the cost per gallon at the dock (for members)is usually less than the cheapest land prices. we own the pumps and pay about ten cents per gallon over whatever it costs to get it there. last year i put about 2500 miles (gps) on the boat so roughly 2500 gallons. had my best boat'n season yet an it keeps get'n better . . . . worth EVERY penny.

If you want to play, You gotta pay! :drink: Sitting on my sundeck drinking an ice cold one with bikinis a plenty everywhere.... Sure beats being stuck on land any day! With money in the tank, she'll be slobbing on the crank in the stabbin cabin. :evilb:

Life is full of sacrifices, but the freedom you get out on the water cannot be compared...so if high gas prices continue to rise, I'll still be on the water any chance I get. :D

I have seen the gas caddy, its a good idea, but I am in the process of getting a 122 gallon tank off a old Tractor Trailer truck, and mount it to a trailer or back of old truck. that is enough gas for me for the whole weekend in one trip.

I wish we could do that at my Marina :( It's right in the contract due to spillage and safety

Pretty sure the DOT would frown on that.. I believe over 50 gallons you need haz-mats etc .. :drink:

Yea I see your point but I see farmers with the 100 gallon tanks in the back of their trucks all the time and they claim its for farm use, I will just claim the same its farm use :evilb:
