I will be glad to put anyone in contact with a friend of mine who was a former agent for them in NEW JERSEY and let him tell about how the FBI broke into his office and seized his computer and business reccords and caused him to incur a large fine and to be banned from the insurance industry.

If I were selling a product and I felt that I needed to go to various websites and state that I really wasn`t a SCAM ARTIST as some people were stating, would you spend your hard earned money with me ???

Thought so........

I asked them to reply here. Figured they should know what is being said about them. Not endorsing them either....

I'm not saying to stay away from CANADIAN insurance companies as there many goog legitimate companies in CANADA.I'm just advising to avoid this group as is the NMMA.

This group apparently does not feel U.S. laws apply to them and they are attempting to get around the law. Not a very upfront operation. I can only imagine how well they would stand behind you in a bad claim scenario. Maybe that is why their loss ratio is so low.
As a marine insurance broker, I too have been solicited to write business with them as recently as the last 60 days. I would never consider putting one of my insurance customers with a company that attempts to get around our laws. My insurance license is too important to me.
