First we were talking about boats, then you made it personal. Shame on you to make such a comment about someone you do not know again. That would be like me calling you a *****,oops!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just did, And to think we were talking about opinions on boats.

i would love to have that camaro today!!
had a muncie 4 speed, mcloud clutch, stroked small block,. loud, raw, unrefined, fun as all heck to drive i wish i had it today,, but to find something similar its all the money..

had a 72 chevelle 350 with a power slide trans, glass packs.
we used this to tow our jet boat :drink: funny as heck.
and then an ss nova, too much power it was straight scary the whole car woud twist, yikes,
those days were fun,, i was just so broke could barely keep en runiin,

Theres never too much power, for the street that is (Scandinavian Street Racing style, remember in the early 90´s there was ProMods running in the streets over here in street racing...YES Real ProMODS and 1993 swedes took the World title in Florida for a street driven car at the Power World Finals)
:D

Toys are meant to be raw.
Interested of a 70½ Z/28 Camaro with real A-group road Racing history with a stout smallblock plus the race suspension still on for 20K?
Shipment over there goes for 2K.
Attachements for the rollcage are intact.
Nope it wont be for sale abroad..sorry too many takers in line here for it.

Built a 66 SS L79 Nova with a 355 using Bill Miller rods Brodix Track1´s plus a serious roller (mechanical) etc. last summer for a friend.
That body gets twisted allot even with subframe connectors.
Full cage is next for it...yes I know what a real L79 is worth..who cares restored cars are no FUN.
Regarding viper..never really grown into them the Z06 on the other hand was an instant hit for me.

Boats are fun too no doubt.
Also old school there so only True flatdeck Cigs for me (like 35 Mistress and the 39 Squadron)
Apaches are just copycats or a continuation run IMO.
Fine boats no doubt but not the original.

You are entitled to your opinion but the record shows otherwise.

This sums it up.

"Over the years Fountain Mercury has won more Offshore World and National Vee Bottom championships than all of the largest 100 marine manufacturers combined! Offshore racing separates the men from the boys. In a hurry! It’s the boating industry’s ultimate test of man and machine.

For the past two decades Fountain Mercury has dominated the sport! Once again this past year Team Fountain Mercury dominated both the SBI and APBA offshore racing circuits capturing World and National Championships in the most competitive V-bottom classes; Superboat Vee Unlimited and Superboat Vee Limited. As if that wasn’t enough, we also set World Speed Records in SBI Superboat Vee Unlimited, SBI Superboat Vee Limited, APBA Super Vee in addition to holding the SBI and APBA/UIM World’s Fastest Vee Bottom Record at a blistering 171.883 MPH.

Many of our competitors make false claims about winning World Championships and setting World Speed Records. So to avoid any question as to whose the fastest - we prove our superiority by winning World Championships and setting World Speed Records in front of the major sanctioning bodies.

Our customers win because we use the same hull designs and high-tech construction in our pleasure boats as we do in our record setting boats.".
