Birdog, fortunately, that boat survived Wilma............ :D
She was in the Top rack at Marina One and Wilma deposited her bow first into the concrete floor and dropped a few more on top for good measure...... :( :( I went to check on her after the collapse and all I could see were the white #6's standing up straight. |

Re: Cigarette Vs. Apache
The flat deck that Stormrider posted pictures of (post #63) is mine. Thanks for all the kind words.
It is the 3rd Cigarette that I have owned. I've had it for 9 years and gone over/replaced everything on the boat. It's a great/reliable boat. Apache is a great boat, but as you can see I'm a die-hard Cigarette fan. |

It belongs to Doug Sullivan from Indiana who is a member of the Chicago Powerboat Club. I think I know the boat that you are referring to. It`s a 96 side by side with big Chief power and white sixes. I talked to the owner at the Chicago boat show in January and he said that it escaped with relatively minor damage, all things considered. |

Be happy to show you mine............nothing like what you describe above. :) |
