And a Scarab was winning there 1981 before that representing USA. Oldschool boats still rule at a true offshore race and CTC is still the no1.
No one has beat Buzzis 50, when will there be a A47 vs Buzzi...or any other big one from US?

Hi MikeyFin. CTC is awesome racing in my book. As far as Buzzi, Mr Euro Offshore in my book too. I believe Jim who owns the 46 Freedom Skater raced Buzzi back in the day. Maybe he will chime in and talk about his experience. Damn 2:20 am and I have to be up in 3 hours. That's it for tonight.

Generally, the longer the better, like winkies. Excepting flat seas, the longer similar hull (they all came from the 35' Cigarette) will outrun any of the shorter models with an equal amount of testosterone. I ran the crew that developed the Top Gun. It is my 'civilian' favorite.
