Anyone have any pull with Hering?

I need a set of Herings but can't wait 4 months. Anyone know anyone at Hering that can get them to me any faster? OR If you know someone with a set of 5 Blade 16.5x38P .

If someone can help it's good for a seat in my New boat on one of the next upcoming Poker runs. (No, not the driver or throttleman seat either!)

JT at TNT is your best bet. I got my 17x37 in 9 weeks.

Let me know if you would consider trying these. You may wind up wanting to trade. The 6 blades are supposed to work great on Nortechs.

If you're looking for cast props - the wait could be quite long. Seems like every racer & manufacturer is in line already. Was the biggest problem we had in OSS Supercat last year - simply couldn't get cast props that some of the other teams already had and were running. I'm still waiting on Hering cast props that were ordered last year. Forged props ($10,000+ each) can be had a little faster because there aren't so many on order. I'd recommend calling Jim personally and asking him for options. He is a great guy who may have some options for you.

DAVE-
I KNOW WE ARE NOT ALONE ON THE LIST OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT JIM AND CANT REACH HIM OR GET A CALL BACK. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS ON DIFFERENT NUMBERS TO CALL OR METHODS OF REACHING HIM?

THANKS

What are the 6 blades you have? I would like to try them if they work on my problem I'd trade.

That is a lot of prop. Are looking at Kilo runs? Why not put the taller gears in the sixes and run some 35's? Are you still running the 1:35 ratio? I changed to 1:24 and it pulls really hard. I was pleased with the performance.

I'm not sure about kilo runs. Theres this other guy building an MTI right now also with big power. I wanted to make sure he can't stay with me. I know the guy rigging his boat and I paid him off to lower the x dimension on it a couple of inches. I bought these props before I knew I was going to be able to pay off the rigger. Now I know it won't be a problem. Here is a picture of the other guys boat. Looks pretty fast!

Does Hering have a web site? I Googled them and came up with lots of site's talking about Hering but no factory site.

Magnum Mark sells Jim his prop cases, from Chicago Case Co. I believe he said that he speaks to Jim quite often. Mark should be back here in Chicago next week. I'll see him as soon as he's back. Would you want me to call him in Fla. and ask him if he could help speed things up?

Frank
