Default Lake Pontchartrain

With this nice weather we have been enjoying i wanted to get the boat ready to take out. I was just wondering if there is still a lot of debris still lurking about in the lake? Or has anyone been out there lately? Also, what Events are going to happen this year.

I was wondering about this as well. Is there much debris floating around. I am getting ready to try to find a place to stay for the Tickfaw run.

Anyone know of a place with a boatslip?

I had talked to a friend of mine about a month ago who is a fishing guide and he told me he had hit a roof going through the rigolets with two clients. Cracked the transom on the boat but no one injured. I dont want to hit something like this going 50 or 60.

Im glad to see that they are going to have the GC run this year. The first one they had two years ago was about the most fun i have had at a poker run. The best part was going to the old beach and wading around watching some of the other boats run by.If it would have been a week earlier i guess they would have had the second one. What about the gathering at bonnable boat launch
