Chris, you should see the video of this boat running.
Nice and level flying.

I think the 496s would be a nice package for this boat.
Bullet proof and be able to top out in the mid 80s(my guess).
Not sexy, but not tempermental(+optional 5yr warranty). :drink:
Plus I wouldn't be concerned about any of the merc mechanics touching it like i would a 525 merc racing motor.

BTW... twins ilmors would be a tight fit on a 299 or 32 activator.
