Default Jet Float or similiar shallow water lift

I am looking for a shallow water lift for my 18 Donzi. I looked at these Jet Float and similiar set ups and they look like they may work. My only concern is them rubbing on the bottom every time I drive up on them. I have about a foot of water at the bow and maybe 4 feet of water at the stern. This is a fresh water lake and it stays more or less at the same level all the time give or take a foot. My 1 foot of water is based on low water not high. Anyone have any input on pissible solutions? I want the entire boat out of the water including the drive if possible. As of now I have no power at the dock so anything powered would need to be solar.

Jon

What about using a ShoreStation? The newer models cross beam is v shaped so it goes lower in the water. I use the DC 12 volt Drive on mine - pull in, plug in, and hit the up button. In shallow water you can dig the front pads in a bit and prob get it down to 1 ft.

Jon,
We have a 38 or a 42 Sonic around here on the Airdack and it seems to be great. I am looking at one for my 22 pachanga for the summer....

Yep, Farfrumwerken uses an AirDock for his 38 Sonic right in downtown Washington DC. I know it works.

speak to ken moody at air dock ! I have a similar situation with my 24 banana and have had an air dock for the past 6 years and its worked great, and its easily portible. Im in salt water so you have to bottom kote it with avon bottom paint other than that its maintenance free. i think the web is air dock .com
