Thanks for the pictures. These must have been taken when it was new. I noticed the valve covers and flame arrestor weren't painted. I thought I would have liked it with the polished look but not so sure now. I think the paint is better.

Drives are to be finished and ship this week. I could not get the boxes off for painting so they are being sanded/painted on the transom. I also removed the aluminum box that the steering rams attached too. I am going to make stainless brackets that mount to side of extension boxes. Now that box is gone I have stripped as much as I can from transom and having that painted. I am going to change it to the silver color since most of the perimeter of the hull/deck by transom is silver. I thought that should look pretty good next to the shiny black drives/boxes.
Hope to start putting things together April 1.
