Pickwick OSS races
Need some info on where to stay. Would like to find a place to keep my boat in the water overnight too.
Plan on coming down friday afternoon and leaving Sunday afternoon.

For the second year in a row, Offshore Super Series, Packaging Corporation of America, Pier 57, Freddy T’s, Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and McDonalds bring back the greatest show on water to the Pickwick Landing State Resort Park. May 5-7, 2006 will be a weekend of fast, fun-filled family entertainment at the 2nd Annual Pickwick Challenge “Racin’ on the River” Offshore Powerboat Races & Festival. The race weekend will be filled with water and land based activities for all ages.
Preliminary Schedule of Events
Thursday, May 4th: Race teams arrive and set up in Race Village and a Pre-Race Warm Up Party at Freddy T’s
Friday, May 5th: Race Village opens to the public at 10 am with pit areas open, amusement park rides, an Arts & Crafts Fair and a Meet the Racers Party at Freddy T’s.
Saturday, May 6th: Race Village opens to the public at 8 am with pit areas open, amusement rides, an Arts & Crafts Fair, live entertainment, an Exotic Car & Motorcycle Show at 10 am, a Boat Fun Run at 11 am, official testing and qualifying with the race course hot from 11 am until 5 pm and a race Bash at Freddy T’s
Sunday, May 7th: Race Village opens to the public at 8 am with pit areas open, amusement rides, an Arts & Crafts Fair, live entertainment and seven classes of offshore powerboats competing for the Pickwick Challenge title from 11 am until 5 pm and an awards ceremony to end the weekend and to honor the teams who brought the world’s finest entertainment to the Mid-South region.

Go to the MCPA or WKPTA forums, there's a lot of names and numbers in them that will help you!! Tracey and I will be there Friday as well.
