Great Boat pics
1 Attachment(s)
My father hired this guy in his chopper to take pics of his boat.
He ran about 60ft way w/ 15meg camera. This pic is obviously way downsized to fit here, but he does great work. Price was around $850 for the shoot and would be less if there was another boat to share in the cost. He is located in palm beach, FL. http://wrightsaerials.com/ |
Re: Great Boat pics

Re: Great Boat pics
Knowles... 40.
We love the boat, but its gettin abit much for the old man to go out alone in. :( Its all handmade... no molds used. The whole thing is glassed together, no seams at all. Makes for a very solid ride. |
Re: Great Boat pics

Re: Great Boat pics
I did a photo shoot for the June cover of Boating magazine a few weeks back with a helicopter taking pictures of me and this hot model (:)). It was a solid 6-8' at Port Everglades and the helicopter had a hell of a time taking pictures because we were flying all over the place.
I just saw the proofs of the shoot and I can't figure out how the heck the photographer got such good shots. If you ever have the opportunity to get your boat photo'd from a helo DO IT. It's a completely diffrenent perspective from the usual shots. |

This is what 6'-8' looked like at the Key West Poker run a couple years ago.

But he's sad cuz he doesn't have similar pics of the other 1/2dozen+ boats he's owned. |

So whats the going rate?

Re: Great Boat pics
Stormrider,
Those are great shots...magazine quality....well worth the money($$$) in my opinion. Does the photographer travel??? I'd rather pay $800+ to take action shots of me out on the water than several thousands of dollars for useless wedding pics. :evilb: Are the pics of your dads boat 35mm or digital??? |
Re: Great Boat pics
CR, the guy is based in the WP-Jupiter area i think.
He uses a 15megapixel Dig. I had to do some serious resizing to get them on here. Here is his site. http://www.wrightsaerials.com/ "I'd rather pay $800+ to take action shots of me out on the water than several thousands of dollars for useless wedding pics." - LOL |

I'll probably drag her to a half dozen Marinas in the area, need to do some research. I'm tired of winterizing........ |
Re: Great Boat pics
Jig, the boat has cummings 430s. Dad pulls it way back to cruise at 28kts.
She opens up at 33-34kts. At 28kts she burns 31gph. NJ, the boat is kept at the boat house across from the Sandsprit ramp. The boat is at the show now, then will be returning to Stuart. My dad's only in Florida thru this month, then he comes home... so the boat will be sitting at the boathouse till May, unless someone buys it. Anyone walking the show is more than welcome to hop aboard and talk to my dad... he loves to talk. :D And I have no current plans to go down to go fishing. :( |
