I lowered a Chevy Dually Duramax all black Foose wheels. Just pulled White Lightning back from Florida. It is all about proper set up. My point My wife drives it better than me,I could'nt have her in a safer auto, I always keep several rides around,but she is always in the dually seems like. SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY shame on who thinks a dually not # 1. Oh one more point on the Chevy Ford thing WHY are 90% of all boat motors CHEVY. Rule of thumb,when a ford sounds like a CHEVY it might run!!!!

I know it's overkill but I put a hitch on a class 8 Freightliner. Hot Duck is right, it's just a lot more comfortable to tow with a bigger truck. All the "towing stress" is gone. Besides that you cannot believe how much better you can see behind you and at the ramp.

To all you guys pulling with a dually are you pulling from the bumper or a goose neck hitch in the bed? Just wondering since you are able to pull more weight (per the truck specifications) by using the goose neck hitch. Thanks for all the input. All of this comes into play when choosing the pull rig and trailer.

I use a fifth wheel instead of a gooseneck. I figure that most semi-trucks on the road use fifth wheel which should be good enough for me. Plus I can tow with a semi if I want to.

When you ride in the back of a school bus and you hit a big bump, you bounce high in the back. The same is a tag hitch(tag-along). The further the hitch ball is from the axel, the bigger the bounce for the trailer hitch. A gooseneck or fifthwheel is in the front of the axel.

All your braking really comes down to how good of trailer brakes you have. Ive got a 38cig on a steel 5th wheel/ F350-dually. When the gain on the electric brakes is not turned up enough it doesn't want to stop, the truck is really just along for the ride! Basiclly if you want to be safe as possible get a dually and put holy water in the radiator. :D

i have a 95 f350 crewcab longbed psd im willing to trade for a srw 4x4 ext cab dodge or ford diesel as im moving to costa rica and the dually wont fit thru a lot of the small bridges down there and the speed limit for the country is 50mph. let me know if anyone wants to trade up to a real tow vehicle. thx, rm
