Doug is producing a new 32 plus 3' bustle drive cover or the full canopy 35 stern drive model. boat weighs 2400lbs, carbon 4 seats and will be rigged with 496's with cmi exhaust and will bust 125mph with stock 5 year warrantied power. very insurable and awesome boat, will also have a 35 coming with big power and 6's looking at pushing 200mph barrier. the hull has the new refinements, 11" taller deck, tunnel tab, looking forward to seeing them, heard the first one runs over 150mph with 700 hp, thats incredible . i think doug is on the verge of moving to the top of the cat boat industry.

by the way Kilo's 36 went over 200mph and it looked very stable to me. actually I believe he still holds the speed record kilo at like 204mph , and that was in an older model skater, dougs boats are state of the art, very safe, well built as any skater, he is a fanatic about quality, why do you think J. T. has purchased the rights to sell all the new 38's.. you guys are right he is a small operation with his son, and they are from the old school. build it right and they will come, it will be at loto by the shootout, then we will see how she does, the first one was said to be very stable and comfortable at 150mph. I'm not saying in big waves, but on good flat water.

That's great! Doug builds a pretty boat and I'd like to see more on the water. 200+ in a 35 I'll have to see, but I'm glad he's going for it!

The Wright's build an awesome boat, I raced on last season and went 119 in one with two STOCK 2.5 outboards. But comparing a 32/35 DW to a 36/40 Skater is like apples to oranges not even in the same realm. Please be safe.
