Help! Insurance for 25 Daytona Open Bow
 

I am new to this site and am in need of suggestions as to finding insurance for a new boat. Was given a quote this morning of $4925 for a year. Am I missing the boat (no pun intended) or has the industry just lost it. The boat is simple, open bow, 425 hp Eliminator Daytona nothing more. What is the driving force behind the rates?

put it on your home owners policy, it will be sooo much less. Just a thought but insurance is one of the reasons I have not jumped to a CAT.

I had my previous Daytona with Boat US. It should be reasonable. Good Luck

If you have any ins. claims and or any speeding tickets on your driving record you'll have problems getting it.Sorry but went through it 2 yrs. ago.

Try listing it as being a Trimaran. Just be sure you provide the correct make and model information.
