That hull, in the sportdeck version was Cobra's best product. I don't know how the top/tower setup will affect the balance though. If top speed is 60 mph., it's certainly slowed the boat down.

It's a nice boat. I have seen it running around in the bay. That's about all I know about it. Get a look at it and let us know...

It ain't the weight as much as the windage. Had a 36 center-console w/trip 300 pro-max, CMC's, and choppers....100+ before pipework, 75+ mph afterwards. The 30 center is (I believe)the only Cobra hull I haven't run, so this is just conjecture based on past experiences.

Dreamer,

Mine is a 2001 with same engines only a ARCH instead of a T-Top. Also, my top speed is 72 mph, maybe because of the props or because of no bottom paint. Most fun boat I ever had besides a Skater.

Will be putting it on the Market (including triple axle trailer) probably by next month once it is all cleaned up.

For a little more, the 357 is a much bigger boat. The freeboard is noticeably different. I'm pretty sure this one was kept at American Offshore for some time.
