Lake Cumberland Poker Run 2006

I recently heard that the big music & party barge at the 06 Lake Cumberland Poker Run will not be at State Dock this year. :( I heard it may not be there at all or it may be moved to the Jamestown dock......wtf????
Anyone else have any info on this?

I also heard you must have a Poker Run wrist band to be allowed on the State Dock. Will they be selling these or will
it only be for those entered in the Poker Run???

If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated
as we are trying to make our plans early.
Thanks
WT

I heard about the restricted access to the houseboat alley where the band was to the non participants also. That sucks. We rented some slips and then walked over and hung with some buddys that had a HB for the runners. They're screwing up a good thing.

I registered for the poker run and the organizers gave my name to State Dock, so I could rent a house boat.

I did include everyone on the houseboat as a passenger in the poker run so they will all have wrist bands to wonder up and down the docks. We have friends who usually boat over to the houseboat each night and they will not have wrist bands. I guess they will have to stay away from the wrist band police.

Here is a link to the State Dock page were they list the poker run as an event being held at their dock in 2006.

And...wrist bands only on the dock ?....C'mon guys !

BTW...I dont drink, I sure as HeII dont dance { :D } And i was
registered with a houseboat so, none of this directly affects me Other than the party & the crowd is the big draw

LOL!
All I'm say is that the biggest draw is the people & party.

And if you need to be banded then who will they show off all of their cool hardware too? Reggie?

Has anyone else heard if the story about the party barge is true?

If it's going to be at Jamestown then that's where I want to be
or else hang out at the falls all weekend

For me too. A quick walk by past the boats, then on to where the fun is.
I assume they are just talking the HB dock for the restricted access. Which also has the band. The rest of the docks would be open for public viewing. Isn't this one of the main reasons for moving to State Dock from Jamestown a couple yrs ago....More room?
