New Boat,New Boater,New Member

Hey guy's i'm new here on OSO and have already learned so much.I'm not such a new boater as to this is the first boat i will own.Been around water and power toys all my life.I should be picking my new boat up Fri. or Sat, this week its a 1989 Formula 272 SR-1 with new 454's only 16 hours,do about 70mph,had it surveyed today and I also sea trialed it.Boat ran great i'm really happy, the boat has been all updated so it's nice.A few of you might know my brother, he go's by the name SLOMAN,i'm sure he''l show me the ropes when we first put it in.Anyways look foward to seeing all you guys on the water, also give me an idea of the hangouts, and places to take the girlfreind on the chesapeake. Thanks Guys.

P.S The name of the boat is "Two Loose Screws"

Yeah the motors only have 16 hours on them, he had them put in last year and didn't use the boat much cause he bought a 28 Eliminator that does 95mph so the boat didn't get much use the motors are still under warrenty for another 6-7 months.....

All you need to do is take the title down to DNR in Annapolis and pay the 5% to William Donald and they will give you stickers on the spot. If it doesn't have MD numbers they will tell you what they are too, then you just get the numbers from a vinyl place (look better than piece by piece from the boat store). Come on over to www.cbpba.com and introduce yourself on the forums, just don't pay attention when everyone tells you to pay your dues :D (ask your bro)

Congratulations on the boat. Let me know if you ever make it down to the patuxent river. Some great bars and hangouts down here, and the perfect distance for day trips from annapolis.

Does anyone still go to Capt Billy's just across the river from Dalhgren? I lived there for 2 years... had a 25 foot fishing rig and buddy had a 35 beak.... We did 4 subdivisions on the N Neck of VA from Dalhgren down to Kilmarnock...
