They are very similar boats both have their different strengths Probably the closest comparable boats in that market.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I guess back when Power Quest was born they were using Formula hulls as their molds to get starated.

Ultimate flattery or poetic license... the old lore similarities dock story that's been around for at least 15-16 years is the cooks left the kitchen for a field trip and ended up at the Formula Dealer which at the time was located in what is now Crescent Marina in Holland - 5 minute ride from PQ. Gathered the ingredients and slowly stirred. Who would think this could happen in the marine industry..
Similarities disappear once you get past the transom. Looking up in racks they look close. Close competitors and both nice boats.
