New Donzi 27 ZR
 

Saw pics of this boat and it looked impressive...has anyone been on one? pros and cons? what sort of speeds can you expect on it with a 496HO or a 525? How does it compare with the 26 and 28 ZX's?

I saw one at Miami and WOW, what a machine. Had it been out earlier, I might of owned one. They are claiming 70+ on the 375hp 496 and had it priced around 80 (with that engine) at the show I think. I talked to one of the guys there and he claimed on an HO, it would do mid to upper 70's and a 525 would be well into the mid or even upper 80's. Not sure of how big of a "fish tale" he was telling, but the boat was absolutely beautiful. Had a fresh look to it and everything. I have some photos that I'll shrink and post on this thread if you like. Like I said before, had this boat had arrived a little earlier.......

If the actual performance figures are anywhere near what that dealer was saying, then that's impressive for that size boat. The hull design looks pretty aggressive, so I'm sure something's working right :cool:
