Nice pic's Dave. Macklin, if you mean die grinding out the baffle in the Corsa tips, I did it on my 260 /454mag and saw 0 difference.

The standard from Corsa and PQ was a mufferled tip that I had completely deleted during assembly. It is a straight pipe out with no obstruction. No backpressure and a LOT more good ole' horsepower rumbling, heart thumping, sweet throaty noise! err, err, errgh! :D

By the way, if you look at the bottom picture (as you're heading into Broad Bay), the big house on the left is right across the street from the home of the head Applications Engineer for Volvo Penta. Since they are headquartered there in Chesapeake, he might be happy to "talk" to you if Mercury doesn't step up to bat. ;)
