Who knows this boat.... what is the story. Well cared for? I know the 3a's are an issue for resale but besides that is there anything someone should know about this boat????

I've heard it is a fresh water-low hours.

Someone told me they are 3's and not 3a's. I could be mistaken but I'd check with your own eyes. The boat had trouble planing when it was new and wouldn't run over 85. We talked to the original owner at the Key West run a few years ago. These issues may have been resolved by now.

The current owner says the drives are 3a's now.

The 3's were stolen days before he bought the boat. Instead of putting on another set of 3's he opted for 3a's.


The seller also says the boat is a 92-95mph boat.

Twinstep....anything else to add? You know the model...anything else the original owner said?

I looked at a sister boat that was for sale at Hideaway Marina. It was a '02 Top Gun T/S with 700 N/A Cobras - #3 drives - and the recall was 87mph on the boat. They ended up giving it away too.

Today Phil said that the boat runs 95. The current owner says 92-95,

We'll have to see what it does if it gets to that point.

That boat has Indiana restrication. I have never seen it before, and I spend every weekend on the Southern half of the big pond. Great looking boat, good luck.

This boat looks like one that had huricane damage.

Has it had any "bad luck" or is it clean?

The boat I started the question on sold this morning....

So I'm looking still.

I wish I had more info, but he didn't say anything more than what me or Bobby said. It's probably been fixed since when I saw it. Just take a good look at it obviously. It could be a really cool boat with the correct setup. Just make sure it has the parts it's supposed to have.

It is a boat that was involved in the National Marine fiasco, I spoke with the original owner when he was trying to get out from underneath it...

make sure you see it in person - i wouldn't buy anthing from fastboats, i have been to there place and checked out a few of their boats that they claim are immaculate and they are trashed.

The speedpass 42 cig looks like it was in a washing machine and they claim its in great shape.
