Just A Thought For Oso
 

I was just thinking how nice it would be if OSO would print up some stick on name tags. They could have there logo in one corner and we could write our oso name and real name on the rest. We could wear these when ever we go to a poker run or party with other members. I think it would be a great marketing thing for them because I'm sure other boaters would ask about our name tags and we could proudly tell them all about it, plus we as members could put names with faces. :cool:

It would be a inexpensive way to get the name out there. I don't think it should be a problem for us to wear them at any poker run where they want us to wear a name badge. Just mail them to members that request them.

Anything we discussed this past week will be coming back very slowly. What a weekend. Feel like a bus ran over me then a stray cat came over and crapped in my mouth :)

JB to take your idea one step further, I think OSO should print up several thousand OSO buttons. They could mail them out with memberships and give them away at poker runs and events. It might be hard to put your board names on the buttons but they would be more permanent. I bet someone on the board is in the ad specialtiy business and could sell them to Steve real cheap

I think a nice quality hat would be cool. OSO logo on the front, and screen name ebroidered on the back or side. Our yacht club just did this with the club name on the front and your boat name on the side. was like $20.

Price it around $20 - $25. I would buy one. I don't think i would ever wear a button pin around in public.....(not to knock your idea Ms Patriyacht, as it is a good one, but not for everyones likes).

I have seen other sites use lanyards and name badges. These badges were done for a Buffett site. They are laminated in 7mil ID pouches, double sided with the hole at the top to put them on a lanyard.

Most people don't wear hats when there at a fancy dinner, our poker run puts on a very fancy dinner and we have the stick on tags that you write your name on, I just thought if OSO had some made for us members it would be inexpensive advertising for them and at the same time it would help us. I've seen some that were like a credit card, and you just slid them in a little plastic pouch, they could put there logo at the top and our ID name and real name under that. It's not something you would wear everywhere, just at boating events where you need name tags.
