COPY + PASTE

Instead of typing out the entire link address for a picture or other. I put the link in MY DOCUMENTS and tried to copy and paste to the boards but the computer wont let me.Is there some way to do it that I don't know about?

When you want to post a link here, open a new window that has what you want. Then you go to the page where what you want is (or have it up), left click the address once (to highlight it), then push the control key and the letter "c" at the same time. Then go back to the window where you want to put it, click once where you want it (so you have the little blinking line) and push the control key and the letter "v" at the same time. That puts the link in the text of the message, then when you add the post, it will become a link.

I go to screen I want them to see and highlight the address bar, right click to copy, then come down to where I want to post it right click again to post...there is probably an easier way but thats the only way I know..

TinkerBoater, Your wife is right, Hell is about 15 miles or so from here. I haven't been through there for a couple years though. Where is Hardy Pond? We usually are at Houghton lake or Grand Haven.

Playn 02-03-2002 12:37 PM

SFOcean, Thank you! :) :) It's the first boat we've ever had and enjoy it a lot. :D

Tinkerer 02-03-2002 12:45 PM

Hardy pond is the Muskegon river above hardy dam. Take 131 to exit 131 go west- follow the signs to brower park good ramp. about 20 miles of river to run. If you've never run a river before stay to the high bank side. This is important upriver because their are some areas where the river widens out and you have to stay to the high bank.---Playn--- nice boat what you got in it? I go to GRAND HAVEN also. Oh RED STRIPE the pictures work for me and everyone else so I don't know what you are doing wrong?

I get "forbidden" also. Must be something with the servers I'm attached to.

Playn 02-03-2002 12:53 PM

TinkerBoater, I may have to check that place out this summer. Thanks, the boat is all stock with the exceptions of the trim tabs I added last year. It has a 454 in it.

Do you guys have problems pulling pictures off of webshots because that is where it is posted? If anyone wants to go to HARDY POND this summer for a get togeather look me up. Also the weekend after Labor Day is hot boat weekend at hardy. You will see a lot of very fast boats there. People come from all over.
