Default Insuring boats 15 years +

Can Bob at WMU or Sy at Total Dollar insure older boats?
Sy can you help? 89 bullet, mild stock power.

Progressive will but no more then 20k

State Farm wont insure a "cigarette boat" no matter how slow it is unless your a long standing customer with them catch 22

This is getting ridicules

On a somewhat related note has anyone been dropped by their insurer on their boat's 15 year anniversary?

I figure I have about 4 years to go, but what happens then?

Hit 15th this year 1991 model, I'm with progressive, they re-upped no problem. 40K agreed value.

I was curious and asked them if they had run my credit lately, (been with them seven years) They came back and reduced my premium by $120.00 a year based on my credit report.

More and more insurance companies are requiring surveys, (bless their hearts), as I am very busy these days. As long as you can justify the higher value in event of a claim, you should be all right.

Thanks for the answer. I guess it's the 16th year we need to worry about, though. Let us know how it goes next year.
