Anyone have any pics of Dave Scott's Turbine MTI that was displayed at the Miami Boat Show? Anyone know if it has been run yet and if so how fast?...Thanks: Matt

Maybe Dave Callhan will have some competition at the Lake of the Ozarks Shoot Out this year?

so how fast Dave Scotts's the boat running?
There is also a considerable size difference between the boats. 50'x12' vs 44'x10'6" which do you think would be more stable at over 200? The rear air foil is a great idea, i actually had a very similar idea last year as im sure others have. It should work awesome, or it could add more drag.

info on the Callan 50

It's not my boat to talk about so I don't have much to say. But I'll be buying a MTI shortly and running T53 turbines. So I think the MTI is more stable. Callans boat is very fast and looks great but at the shootout it was not running right. But I'm not an expert at all. The old Tencarra ran as flat as a razor.

The boat only had a small amount of test time at the Shootout last year. All our runs were over 200 and within 1 mph of each another. Try that consistency. Needless to say, we were satisfied with our showing and always keep safety as the primary focus. We'll be back this year and the boat will have considerable test time on her.
