Why They Call it BAM marine
 

I think I finally figured out why they call it BAM marine,,I order an extremely rare hard to find part for my mercruiser yesterday,,, And BAM!!!! it showed up today :evilb: thanks Dena, you did exactly what you said you would do, no BS, no hassels, I couldnt have gotten the part any faster if it was right next door. Not to mention even with express shipping you beat my local mercruiser shop by $50. If you have ever run around town looking for a hard to find part, give these guys a call, I believe I found a secret weapon to keep me out on the water this year. :cool:

I needed a new trans from BAM a few tears ago. So I would be running for the weekend Mark had one of his guys drive over to the airport and ship the trans to me via. Delta Airlines. I picked up the transmission at Newark Airport here in NJ about 6 hrs after our phone call!

I was able to get the boat back together and running before the weekend! :cool:

I met Marc Berman back in Chicago in the 70s. You will be hard-pressed to find a more knowledgible, helpful and friendly gentleman. Encountering him at boat shows and social functions always makes it a better day for me.
I always thought that that "BAM" was his initials backward, but later I found out that his middle name does not start with "A".

I met Marc Berman back in the early eightys through Magnum Mark. Back then, BAM stood for "Bermans Auto & Marine"
He is one of the best guys to deal with, and we miss him not being back in Chicago. :(

I called today for a couple of Speedy drain plugs and gaskets, told go to the internet and order, at the time it was not available to me. Sorry no phone orders taken, go to the site or I cannot help.

Man, you want to talk about Sudden Service, Bam is it! I called Monday for a part, I was directed to email the tech line. They emailed me back right away, I emailed them a couple pictures of what I needed, mind you this is a twenty year old boat. They told me what I needed. I get a confimation of my order Tuesday morning, and this afternoon (Wednesday), the UPS truck pulls up with my part. The best thing about it, it is the CORRECT part! Could not ask for better.

The best. I needed a Bravo 1 with low water pickups in 24 hrs and Mark had it in my hands the next day (in Orange Beach, Alabama no less) and I saved about $1,500.
