My apartment building is on fire.
 

Gotta say, this kinda sucks. I'm just hanging out in my apartment on the 34th floor waiting for the fire department, since the smoke is too thick to walk down. I spoke to the 911 opperator who told me to stay put until someone comes to get me as the fire is in the stairwells at this point.

The upside is, my neighbor is a really cute girl and we've been talking with our heads out the window. So, I got that going for me. This smoke sucks though.

I'll update you later when I get out.

And NO. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!

Girl next door just mentioned a finance. My response? He's not here helping you through this, is he? But, Miller's here for you...which is nice.

Looks like it might be contained. Fireman were on the roof yelling down to hang in there for now. Stairwells are too smoke filled to leave yet, but the fire is contained to the 6th, 7th and 8th floors. We should be out of here in a couple of hours.

If you haven't done it already, place towels around the bottom of the doors to keep the smoke from getting into your apartment. I second that nomination from "Whatever". What a DIE HARD OSO memeber! Good luck Miller! Keep us up to date with your date :D and of course your apartment. Get out safely. ;)

Also, just in case they haven't "contained" it you might want to fill the bath tub-hopefully you won't need it. I also think some type of award is in order!!!

I told him to seek refuge with the girl next door.
