sync gauge?

I am looking to update the gauges on my Baja 32 Caliber. Does any one sell an updated sync gauge? Or, do most people just leave that gauge out when updating. Do I really need it?

Can you find matching digital tach's, they are more accurate then analog tachs no need for the sync indicator.
