I thought the whole reson to buy a cruiser was to use the residue from spilled martini's, whip cream, tanning oil and any other slippery things that find their way aboard to protect the gel coat with

For the record yes I have used it and did find it difficult to remove and not as long lasting as several meguirs products. My favorite for protecting is Meguirs HI-Tech #27 pro yellow (4 years as a pro-detailer) This wax is only a protector so you need to go over with a polish or cleaner first.

I like dri-wash stuff, works great on my boat. Although I just got some bioclean for my vinly to try.

Hey all thanks for the reply's,

I was talking with someone in Ohio about boats and he mentioned that he was a Distributor for Collonite and was telling me it was the best thing since sliced bread.

I knew if I asked the OSO crowd I would get the real story on the stuff.

Boathead, I like the idea of doing two things at once, also. I use a product like that, too from BoatUS. The only area that I hand wax is the deck and cockpit. I'll have to try the Malco stuff when I run out of what I have now. It is available in Zeeland, MI at Wyrick Co. I buy from them once in awhile. They sell mostly body shop and car detailer supplies.
