Post TurboCharging the new 6.2s

Good Morning all,
I am thinking about installing TurboChargers on my 6.2s UH , NO wait , I have a friend that is thinking about putting Pro-chargers on his VEE-HULL!! I would never do that because that would void my warranty!! He has a 32ft vee that weighs 6500lbs with a 24 degree deadrise. I read the article in the new PBM , on the test on the CAT, and the results looked great.

Has anyone tried this on a vee????

Thanks Alot!!! OH YEA,, He said his boat runs 70mph now!!

Is it spring yet???

I'm running turbos. They are a way cool setup. There are pros and cons to every thing. I like the fact theat the turbos quiet my exhaust down with out doing any mufflers. A fuel injected twin turbo setup would be the way to go, um, for "your friend".

Your "friend" should email [email protected] (or maybe you could do it for him). Dustin is really willing to help out and no doubt was very involved in the PB project you referred to. The Whipples will give you tremendous out of the hole snap that you will not get with Turbos or ProChargers.

Why try and re-invert the wheel, that is build a turbo system around the 6.2 when there is a great system with whipple allready? If you like lots of downtime and possibly a blown engine go for it.

I'm confused, didn't Cat& Mice do the whipples on his boat with 6.2's in HotBoat Mag?

Where did MAMA say "his friend" was afraid to void his "Hull" warranty? All I read was warranty... which I assume means engine....
