Re: Thanks Chatim
Thanks for the kind words guys. We are taking the weekend off and are in Miami at the races. Met up with some old racers last night at the casino at the dinner for tom'ws race. We were in the dry pits today and plan to be at the races tom'w.
I was with John Crouse again this past week down here in Florida, and he generously gave the Historic Offshore Race Boat Association, HORBA, another three boxes of photos, negatives and slides with each box weighing approx 50 pounds.
I have some great shots of Brownie who appears to be about 16 years old in these photos. How long ago was that?
The new material from the Keikhaefer archives is up, in the members only section of the HORBA website, with a nice showing from the old Aereomarine catalog from the mid 70's. Membership is free, please consider joining and learning about the great history of this sport.
I'll be heading back up north this week with my motorcycles in tow for the summer, so no news for a while....as Donz said, the wait will be worthwhile with these new boats...thanks so much for your patience.
