Cool Some Logistics for Memorial Day at Havasu

First, we'll just call the Nautical Inn and reserve the whole hotel 'cause we're going to need it. When you make your reservation just tell them your with the OSO group.

Second, we'll have everyone meet at the Sandbar at 11am or so. Not to early 'cause we'll have partied all night Friday. I'll make sure I grease the pockets of the sheriffs since they will want to shut it down that weekend. It has to be the Sandbar because it will be the only place big enough to hold all of us.

We'll helicopter someone up to the top of the hill to take the photo. Better yet, we'll just take it from the chopper that way we can make sure everyone is in the picture.

After we're done with the picture we'll motor on up the river to the Avi Resort and Casino to do a little gambling or we could go to Havasu Springs and have a late lunch. On second thought we might have to have a beach party 'cause there won't be any place big enough to hold all of us that are gonna show up.

Havasu Rocks! LOTO can only dream

I gotta plan brah's....Take all 5 boats, you know the 18' pickle fork sandsucker(jet) the 19' v bottom sandsucker the "big" 23' advantage and the 2 20' cats with twin eggbeaters on back, on a run from the damn to the bridge and then to the sand bar.

Run'em onshore and Brah or Dude can crack open the case of Zima and we maybe we can burn some bud and like get soooooo torched and hope some Betty's come by. I can't wait for Memorial day at Havasu...whoooo hoooo! That'll be sooooooo Narly!

Hey there tflb, like the gentleman above ya' said. Until you have been to both, you just don't know. I wish you could see the number of big (35' +) boats that converge on Havasu every spring/summer weekend. Yeah, right next to that 18' pickle fork could very easily be parked a 46 Skater. Been there, seen that.

I have never been to Havasu but from the aerial photos posted here I don't recall seeing that many "BIG" boats. Last time I was at LOTO there were four 43' Black Thunders tied up side by side plus a whole bunch of others like several 42' Fountains and many Cigs from 31'-42'. I will have to post an aerial shot from LOTO to prove my point.Oh Yeah!! I don't have a website to post it on. Anybody want to volunteer? I will e-mail it to you.

Let me know--
Dave

P.S. Hey Wally how about your website?
Drop me a line.

Cool

Boys, Boys, Boys!!! It sounds like a "Mine is bigger than yours" pissing contest. And as we all know....To a man, SIZE DOES NOT MATTER!!!

Besides, the crowd at Havasu will absolutely eclipse those at LOTO!!!

not....lavey, the MO water patrol estimates on holiday weekends 40,000 boats on the lake. I know Havasu doesn't come close to that.
