Default Tired of Mercruiser Trim Pump reservoir leaks!!!!!!!

Has anyone found a way to keep these things from leaking? I have gone thru about 5 on my TG, and 3 or 4 on my old PQ. Macklin and Vyper340 have gone thru a few too.
They always leak after about a year. NOT around the cap, (yes I have the no leak cap too) but at the seam around the middle where the two halves are joined.

I just found a drop of oil in my bilge, and sure enough, one of the ones I replaced last year is leaking.

I have tried the Merc brand, ARCO brand and Sierra.
They all leak eventually.

The billet ones are nice, but to replace all 4 of my reservoirs -
the price they ask for those things are stupid expensive for what they are.

Bill, check out Revolution Marine's billet reservoir. Nice product, priced fairly.

Isn't there a adapter that goes with it for the 4 screws to attach to?? I heard the hole kit was about 189.00

That's $800 for all 4. I think that I would rather buy a roll of paper towels. If it's just one drop per week, the roll should last the whole year!
