Default What is the Best Engine Flushing System

What are and where do you get relaible, well built installed engine flushing systems for high horsepower engines?

I am looking to add engine flushing to my closed looped cooled system so that I can flush the drive and engine with Salt Away when it's on my boat lift.

PM or respond on this thread with pics and places to get one.

Thanks!

I added a system to my closed cooling system on my Formula 357SR1. I had Perko strainers and installed their caps with the hose fittings on them. Also hooked similar fixtures to strainers for genset and a/c system.

I got a brass manifold type thing that let me control which device got flush water and gave me a single hose contact. Other benfit was I was able to break airlock on a/c and genset after boat had been in stack storage in addition to being able to run on workstand.

Also put brass cut-offs in line to force water theu engines rather than letting it go out the transom.

Vyper,

Give me a ring or email tomorrow. I have 496s and added an unrestriced T before the SWP. Turn the hose on, and it flushes the drive. Turn the motor on, and flush the motor. Turn the motor off, and flush the the drive again until you turn off the hose.

Works great, last long time.
