The oil leaking HD's are from years ago when AMF owned them. My two never leaked a drop, but I still would rather ride my Suzuki. :)

Why do soo many people on here have to inflate their egos by telling themselves that what they own is the best and anyone that doesn't own the same thing is inferior......................WHAT A CROCK OF SH!T.

We all love to boat and we all love to go fast can't anyone here speak their peace without trying to make a who's better than whom competition out of it?


The 40 ol is a good boat for the $ and will probably serve you well. There are many other boats out there that are better suited for differernt people but the 40 OL is a good all around boat and I think you would be very happy with one.

I Have Owned From Rinker To Baja To Fountain To Donzi, Etc. I Think You Have To Try Different Brands To Find Out What Suits Your Purpose The Best. That Is The Real Point. Everyone Has A Different Objective In Reality When It Comes To Boating. Make Sure When You Are Advising What To Buy That You Understand What They Consider To Be Their Ideal Application. I.e. Pure Speed, Size Of The Cuddy, Room In The Cockpit, Rough Water Application, And Obviously The Financials Such As Purchase Price And More Importantly Resale Value. I Feel Too Many Do Buy A Boat Brand For The Perceived Fame That Comes With A Brand And It Does Not Meet These Needs. Do Your Homework And That Is Why People Are On This Website. My $.02

I agree ... BUT Praetorian was not interested in a 40' OuterLimits :evilb: :drink: He was interested in a 40' brand B.

You'll never hear the phrase "...is a good boat, for the money" with Outers ......... or Cigs for that matter LOL :eek: :rolleyes: :D
