Default first day back out on the water!

Today took the boat out to a local lake and everything was going good.... broke her over on plane ran her up to about 100 the right motor just acts like it shifts into neutral thinking i blew an outdrive or something i turn the motor off. get to the ramp and start the motor back and check to see if goes in reverse and it does.... it will go in reverse and neutral but no forward.... got home and i
took the cap and back off of the drive when i got home and there is not metal shavings anywere.... and its not the cable(already checked that)! has anyone expierienced this or know anything about wat could be wrong?
thanx,johnny

Could be one of the clutches, the upper shaft. Hows your shift cable-adjustment?

shift cable seems fine, it quit pulling at about 85mph acts like it went to nuetral, reverse is fine, no metal or chunks? pulled the drive off and its hard to turn from the drive shaft turns so far and stops turn the other way same thing, it will turn but you have to force it to turn. 1 have a spare so where fixin to install it this week and tear down this one to see what happened.
