Reggie comes to LI
 

Reggie Fountain came to LI Island today, Mariners Cove Marina in South Hampton to be exact. First time I met him. He's quite a guy as those who know him know. Other celebs were in attendence as well. The fastest Fountain Poker Run was there for starters. Well, we'll see at the New York Poker Run just how fast, but it sure turned heads. Powered by Sonny Leanord and completly re-rigged by Bo of Monsta Marine this boat has speed written all over it. Joe Lupo the owner, along with some sponsors including Mariners Cove made the whole thing work. It was fun listening to the three of these guys talk and learning as I went. Bobby the owner of Mariners Cove was there with his three beautiful daughters along with Vinnie who pretty much does it all for the Marina. Anyway, here are some of the pictures I took along with my wife Kelly.....

Too bad we didn't know about this....I was out in Westhampton all day yesterday and would have loved to stop in.

Thanks for the report. What year is the Monsta 42 Fountain? From the looks of the steps it looks like an older boat from the mid 90's? What is the claimed top speed?

It's a Monsta 42 Poker Run 2005 with Leonard 1270 hp engines.. :D

I think I recognize those motors from somewhere, (else's)?! :D Maybe, a fellower OSOer would know something about those motors. :drink:

its great to see those engines go to a guy that isn't afraid of them :D doggies. :evilb: i guess it just takes a man with a strong wrist to push the throttles all the way forward :p with those bad mofo's

top speed will be released for dissuasion after a legitimate number becomes factual. which should be around the week before memorial day. relentless and i will be spending that week with Reggie himself at fountain to squeaky every last tenth out of her.
on another note with 6 bld 33 herrings and 1:50 gear w/ 750 n/a engines she ran a top of 114. now with 6's and 1250+ hp,,,,,,,,,,,, let's just say what ever the number it will surely have to be approached carefully.
