Default Removing Powder Coating?

I have a aluminum peice that is powder coated red......Can the red powder coat be removed and How? Thanks

I've used acetone before with excellant results. Soak a few min, the coating just peels off in sheets. Other times it softens the coating and requires more work. Also have just blasted it off. Different types of coating will result in different ease of removal.

The mechanic in the next bay had some aircraft stripper on his bench laid it on and WOW I may just have the door and frame cleared!! looks great!!

Soak it in a tub filled with Greased Lightning( full strength), let it set for about 5 days, remove part sparkling clean. Wear gloves.
