Just read the the Road and Track test of the F430 and the Gallardo. The F430 won out easy. Then I read the 997 Turbo test and it would beat both cars especially the Lambo and it's only $120k
One mag also just tested a bunch of tuner cars like the Lingenfelter Vette and the Hennessy Viper against a stock Z07 Vette but 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times and track times the stock Z07 Vette was just as fast. The conclusion is there is a point of no return with power and 1000hp is just not advantageous.
