Hp600sci Questions
 

I am curious to see if any of you have ran the 600sci at higher elevations. I know Merc is claiming it will put out 600hp no matter what the air conditions are but I would like to hear that first hand. I boat at Lake Havasu and in Wyoming which is a rise in elevation of about 5500'. The 525 I have now requires a drastic prop change at elevation and still won't run real well. Please let me know if any of you have had any experience with the 600. I am buying a new boat and am trying to make a motor package decision. Thanks in advance!

What big lakes are you running in Wyoming? Haven't heard much about any there but love to hear about new places that people boat,Smitty

I have the 600's in my 42. Love them. I think they are worth the money. They have great mid-range and sound absolutely bad-azz. I have only run them at sea level though. 42 hours on mine and not one problem (klnocking on wood).
