Hey Steve, it happens to the best of us, but like Fred said there will always be water and boats, you can live without the headaches of chicks, I have now for 2 years and it is great but I had to do the same, twice (not two marriages, I'm not THAT stupid) I just downsized and still have a blast, in fact I get more boating in now than ever. The worst part, like you said, was the attachment to the boat, that is hard but time will heal that wound also. I noticed you were not too concerned about the ex, like a true boater you will miss the boat more. Just hang in there, stick around (2/3rds of the people here don't have boats) and just get back on your feet. There is lots of time to build another boat. And stay single, do not jump back into the game because thats all it is, a big ,expensive, emotional game.
