Saying Goodbye
 

Well guys,looks like the boat is headed to Grand Sport Center to be brokered,this weekend or early next week :( .....
Today I spring prepped it and got ALL my personal belongings out of it.......After sitting all winter,both engines fired immediately.....I knew it was going to be HARD to see it go....I just CAN'T believe how emontially torn up I am today....It was my DREAM and part of me,because of ALL the personal touches and changes I made.....And now it has to go because I TRUSTED and LOVED someone.....

I only read that the boat was going with allusion to the wife as well. Steve didnt say he was going.....maybe he will stick around and post some of his conquests in the uncensored section for us :drink: :chimp:

Boat's are toys and there'll be more of them. For the near term, take care of yourself, hang around OSO and boat with friends.

Hey Steve, it happens to the best of us, but like Fred said there will always be water and boats, you can live without the headaches of chicks, I have now for 2 years and it is great but I had to do the same, twice (not two marriages, I'm not THAT stupid) I just downsized and still have a blast, in fact I get more boating in now than ever. The worst part, like you said, was the attachment to the boat, that is hard but time will heal that wound also. I noticed you were not too concerned about the ex, like a true boater you will miss the boat more. Just hang in there, stick around (2/3rds of the people here don't have boats) and just get back on your feet. There is lots of time to build another boat. And stay single, do not jump back into the game because thats all it is, a big ,expensive, emotional game.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and invites....I know I just NEED the patience to let my life turn around,which in time, I'm sure it will.....
