Jayl13,

brakes disc or drum? Electric or Hydraulic? Type wheels and tires?
rated capacity?
I have been advertising in the wanted section for months and have had no responses at all.

Disc brakes all the way around, Hydraulic I believe. If this thing can hold an apache (should be rated at 18 K lbs, it should hold a baja. dry weight of my apache I believe is 13500, loaded im pushing upwards just over 15K so its fine.

Got a picture of your myco by chance? Did the bumper pull myco present any problems for you cause of the size or weight of your boat? Or is it you just want to go to gooseneck for stability and maneuverability reasons? Mark Adams has a full myco gooseneck for 13 K for a tractor, has air brakes on it. I cant use it, I need regular brakes for my F350 dually.

The Baja is 14,400 dry and holds 300 gals of fuel. Check the capacity and PM me a price.

I wish I could find someone to convert mine to a gooseneck. It would make backing in the driveway soooo much easier.

I am kinda of confused. Gooseneck or fifth wheel?

I prefer the fifth wheel (with the king pin and flat receiver in the bed of the truck) vs. a gooseneck (hitchball in the bed).

Re: Looking for 5th wheel trailer

I prefer the gooseneck...don't lose the use of your bed when not towing.

TRUE.

Reese makes a kit where you pull 4 pins and the fifth wheel comes right out.

For those of you who are confused, below is a pic of a ball in the bed and a goosenecked trialer.

Re: Looking for 5th wheel trailer

I have a 24K lb Myco Trip axle that fits a 47' Fountain that can be easily modified. Call or email me 703-300-3000 or [email protected]

BTW - with the new 5th wheel hitches they come completely out of the bed and you do not loose the use of your truck bed when not towing.

They have conversion pieces to convert a 5th wheel trailer to a gooseneck for a few hundred dollars. I have a 5th wheel trailer if you need to borrow one, met you a few weeks ago. I was the guy checking out your neighbors house.
