I think we're going to run the first one Monday or Tuesday. Depends on when the MSD shows up. Got it pretty much buttoned up today.

Fred, good to hear from you. No, we're not going to dyno them, just run for cam break-in. Bored +.030, decked, align-honed, balanced, resized the rods w/ARP bolts, Federal Mogul cams (same as Dyno's and Waterfoul's), Cloyes timing chains, new valves, springs, retainers, and keepers in the Merlin heads, L2465F TRW+.030 pistons. Any progress on the Eagle? It's a great boat.

We went from 8.75 to 9.7:1 compression ratio but the cam is a little less than the Bulldog cams he had last year. It should run about the same but the valve train should last longer as the springs are set at 110 lbs closed. Good luck on selling the 30. It's a good boat and should be about bulletproof for the next owner. You going to be in rack storage at GLM this year?

Thumbs up

I have run ultradyne cams for about 10 yrs. now. I haven't had any problems other than my own fault.
