Post Miss Amy

Hey, I read in another post that you've got a Searay. We've had Searays since 1988. A lot of boat for the money. And on the hot summer weekends a lot of offshore-types stop in to have a beer and sit in air-conditioned comfort.

Crazyhorse,
Our SeaRay is a 1994 express cruiser and so far it's been a great boat. Since we are selling our condo down at loto, we will probably be spending alot more time on it this year.

And it definately serves it's purpose as an anchor vehicle when rafting up with friends. Although it's usually for a JELLO shot and the A/C!

So, are you going to be able to make it down for Memorial Day? Hope to see you there.

I won't be making it to LOTO this year. I hope to have the boat in the water by then though. Last year was the first season with this boat, a 1980 310 Vanguard Express (previous boat was a Searay 390 EC), launching it in mid-June. We bought it in August of '98 and spent a year and a half completely refitting it. It was only done from the rubrail down when it went in, and I continued the work all summer. This year all I have planned is to install an autopilot.

I failed to mention that ours is a 330 EC; so not quite as big as yours, but big enough I guess.

You'll have to forgive me....I did a little too much birthday celebrating last night and am moving a little slow this morning. Damn, I'm too old for this. I just can't drink like a used to.

Anyway....sorry to hear you won't be making it down for Mem. Day. We would have given you a jello shot or two or three or.....LOL

And, the boat sounds real nice. Sounds like you worked hard on it. Good job!

The 330 EC is plenty of boat. Nice and beamy and good headroom in the cabin. Fairly fuel efficient too. Nice choice.
