I raced drag boats for years, had a blast! Not! as much fun as the poker runs though, cant beat a good poker run you get to do a little racing, and can thenkick back and just enjoy it, I have made a lot of great friends, and had a blast, no pressure! i will take the poker runs anyday! just be ready to put up with a lot bench racing( $$$$$hit)

Having raced a few times I got a news flash for the poker runners with all that ego...... sign up for a race and prepare to get schooled. There are guys on the course that have unbelievable skills in set up as well as driving/throttling. The BS stops at the races!!!

:cool: :cool: SOOOO TRUE!!! We have 900's in the race boat. At PP one year whyen we had 600's a guy in a 36skater shows up with 1000's. He lost. Too rough for him. :eek:

I have done both, but considering how the racing organizations have been over the past few years with all of the political BS and disorganization, I had to vote for poker runs.

Poker run, I think you stand a better chance running offshore and in rough water than current day racing!!!!
