Krptonite
ANyone have any experience with the 27 or 29 hulls? COuld you get one with OB's?
|
Re: Krptonite
We just traded in a 2005 29 with a killer BBC. It is a real trip to run :drink: The tech guys don't want me to sell it,just keep it for them to use  It is a fun ride.

Re: Krptonite
I don't know about a Kryptonite with O/B'S but they build one heck of a nice boat.
Fast too. |
Re: Krptonite
You can get the 27 with OBs...the 29 has a molded in swim platform so NO OBs on the 29.
|
Re: Krptonite
i have rigged, built and raced the 27 and the 29. the c.c is available in i/o or o/b, as is the hard deck.

Re: Krptonite
There was a 27 Kryptonite built with twin Mercury 300X's on the back. Speeds of 100mph were talked about it but not sure how accurate that is.

Re: Krptonite
also one with twin 2.5's ran over 100. modest set-up. the bottom of kirks boats a re truly crisp. great boat , built very well. :D
|
Re: Krptonite
Kirk built one helluva boat in the 27/29.
I love my 29' w/ blown 454. The outboard set up is very light and fast. Great hull to run with the bigger boats in most conditions. I've had my 29 for 3 seasons and plan on running it again this year. However, my boat is available and will be listed in the classifieds shortly. I am looking to move up to something a little bigger w/ twins :D I wish the 39' Krypt looked more like the 29' :( ....so for now I am in the market for a 38zr comp. or a 36 Gladiator. I like the sit down boats. |

Tom A.'s boat is an absolutely gorgeous Kryptonite. Had the opportunity to ride shot gun with him this past summer during the NJPPC one day Atlantic City Poker Run. The boat out prformed boat larger in size. Don't forget how dominate that hull has been in Offshore Racing as well. The Typhoon Factory 1 race boat would have never been able to say it "RULES THE SEAS" without the Kryptonite hull to do it with.

Don’t mean to hijack nor advertise but, have you seen or heard about this… [url=http://www.putfile.com]http://x11.putfile.com/4/9216472929.jpg[/ur] http://xs75.xs.to/pics/06143/5r-lkite.jpg http://xs75.xs.to/pics/06143/4l-rkite.jpg |
Re: Krptonite
For those that have not seen a Tuff they are worth a look. They are 100Vinalester resin, vacuum bagged, there isn't a boat on the market that is built near as strong as the Tuff.
Performance is unreal, and it doesn't need steps to reach big numbers. It is worth the look. RT |
