Default Extended warranties

Does anyone have any experience or a recommendation on a good extended warranty program for new boats (525 Merc's)?

They are all glad to sell you the policy but when you make a claim you are in for a hell of a fight. I strongly recommend that you stay away from FPC.

the merc exteded warr is about the best and easiest, keep in mind that this is a profit center for the dealer and most will negoiate it, I would try to get them to throw it in for free to make the deal then work up from there rather then trying to get them down let them get you up

Mercury does not cover any hi-performance products directly. The plan available for that is Passport Premier which is a Brunswick product.

Omerta,
Brunswick Product Protection does offer a 5 yeary policy on those motors. Give me a call and I can get you whatever information you need. I have the same policy on my 500's.

Kyle, My Dealer is offering a Passport Premier extended package. Passport is a Brunswick Product Protection Corp.

Retail price on a 5-year Passport Premiere Policy would be $5,100 per engine.
